The boards are the 2014 gift to the School from the OBA.Most importantly, the match epitomised the culture and pride that exists in CCGS polo.Having all of the enthusiastic old boys down to play against us, made us all realise how deep the culture runs at CCGS and how it just doesn’t stop being a part of your life when you finish school. The series of honour boards includes a history of the school’s PSA premiership wins and the captains of each sport dating back as far as 1957 when Christ Church joined the PSA.The gift also includes a board featuring motivational quotes from three inspirational old boys – cricket and hockey player and hockey super coach Ric Charlesworth (1969 – pictured left), former Olympic gold medal winner Bill Kirby (1992 – pictured right) and world championship rower Todd Skipworth (2002). Director of Sport Anthony Lynch said the new boards had created real interest and had even given boys a goal to aim towards.
